My Story
I was born and raised in South Florida, by the best father one could ask for. After graduating from high school, I joined the United States Navy and left for the high seas. Fortunately for me, I received orders to San Diego, California, stationed aboard USS Constellation (CV-64). I was honored to serve this great country for eight years and am thankful for the skills and discipline the military gave me.
After the Navy, I began working a civilian career and pursuing my college degree. In 2003, I graduated from San Diego State University (Go Aztecs!) with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a focus in Information Systems.
While in college, I started a small Web design company called WEBITsites and Computer Solutions. I built a solid list of small business clients and relationships that I still value to this day. In 2005, I was brought in to a traditional print marketing company as their in-house Web designer and was key in creating an on-line presence for their brand. It was during this time that I learned a great deal about print marketing and print graphic design.
In 2007, I was recruited by iCrossing to join their Web Analytics/Performance Insight team. Shortly after joining iCrossing, I transitioned to the SEO department to work on their largest search account, Bank of America.
During my tenure at iCrossing, I had the opportunity to work with top international brands.
Examples: Coca-Cola, General Motors, The Fairmont Hotels, Royal Caribbean, Bank of America/Countrywide Mortgage, CVS, PRNewswire, General Mills, Betty Crocker, Marriott, Delaware North, Dollar Thrifty, Genworth, Stampin’ Up!, etc…
In 2009, I moved cross-country to New York City to join MRM Worldwide’s Content Strategy/Search team and eventually became the practice lead.
In October of 2012, I felt a longing to get away from city life so I once again packed my bags and moved again to the Twin Cities area of Minnesota where I’m now heading up the organic search practice at Deluxe, eBusiness.
Outside of work, I am an avid drummer, concert-goer, and dog fanatic!
